This module led by Arindam Chakrabarti, Distinguished University Professor at Ashoka University, is divided into four sessions over two days, and will cover the wisdom, beauty, and significance of the fish across ancient Indian, Mesopotamian, Chinese, and Christian philosophies. The fish here becomes not just the edible core of cuisine, especially in Bengal, but also an omnipresent symbol, worship-worthy avatar, mythological ancestor and more.
