In this online video lab, Bani Abidi (Berlin) and Priya Sen (Delhi) explore possibilities of thinking and creating together across geographies, in a module that includes screenings, readings, discussions and video projects. The aim is to assemble a community that experiences each other's imagination, histories, cities, soundscapes, boundaries and freedoms, in order to connect and speak in new ways.
Bani Abidi (b. 1971, Karachi, Pakistan) uses video and photography to comment upon politics and culture, often through humorous and absurd vignettes. Abidi lives and works between Berlin and Karachi.
Priya Sen is interested in eclectic forms and practices with nonfiction film and sound. She works out of New Delhi.
