It speaks of a childhood tutor in Kutubpur, Dolly ma’am, whose untimely end lingered in a former student’s memory. Years later, from a hostel attic in Kanchanpur, that student, who is now a young woman, saw her own sorrow reflected in that past. She wrote a final letter, left behind a little money, a photograph, and a final wish: that the fleeting joy of her youth might still be remembered.
