Kokkaddichcholai depicts the interior of a bunker—when looking out, all you see is the sky above. That perspective has stayed with Vinoja. In many of her recent works, she begins by looking at the sky from above, as if reversing the original view from inside the bunker. This shift—from being inside looking up, to now looking down from above—feels significant. Vinoja focuses on small details and moving lines, drawing from the land’s colours and forms. This bird’s-eye view allows her to revisit the same landscape from new perspectives.
