• Create end-to-end solutions for Experimenter’s design needs. Provide web-to-print collaterals and create communication design for the programming activities of the gallery for multiple simultaneous projects from conception to completion, within provided deadlines.

• Create social media collaterals for exhibitions across the gallery spaces and projects beyond the gallery’s programming including art fairs, projects, and collaborations.

• Contribute to the creative vision and the standard of output in accordance with Experimenter’s design language.

• Co-design Experimenter’s annual book, artist’s books, monographs and book objects under Experimenter Books, and work with the Experimenter team and artists to ideate and execute publication design projects.

• A distinct design voice and passion for the arts is a pre-requisite alongside an awareness of the pulse of the global art world. Curiosity to learn and be informed about the latest developments in art world communication and design.

• Stay up-to-date with Experimenter’s programming and work in tandem with the program’s needs. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with Experimenter’s team and artists and lead design projects.

• Present your ideas and creative vision with clarity and conviction in the context of Experimenter’s goals with awareness of the gallery’s programming.

• Use a process-led, iterative approach to work, be adaptable to changes, take feedback openly, and implement the same on a timely basis.

• Have a keen eye for detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A portfolio/selection of works that showcases an understanding and execution of graphic design knowledge, layout, and typography.

• A degree/diploma in Graphic Design, or one in a related field. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of work experience at a design studio or in a similar environment.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Specifically, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects will be beneficial.
