Working with fabric sourced from various communities, she resists specificity; the stitched forms are neither fully landscape nor entirely figure, but a haunting convergence of both. The deliberate omission of facial detail echoes the dehumanization of victims rendered anonymous by violence. These are not portraits of particular individuals, but of collective memory and collective forgetting.
